Side note/Update: Sorry I haven't updated my status in awhile. Life/pain killers have me all fucked up at the moment. My physical therapist has determined that my SI joint (the bone that connects your left hip to your right hip and allows for walking) is completely out of place on both sides. Also my muscles have clinched up so tight that they are not allowing anything to move IE the joint to be forced back into place.

So with that said I am undergoing some nerve deadening therapy to hopefully allow the muscles to relax enough to start in on some movement. As it sits right now I can only walk for about 15 minutes, drive for 30 and sit for about 45 ( can't use my legs too much or they go numb and start to hurt, that's why driving is less than sitting) before I start to hurt. I had light duty for work Thursday, Friday and yesterday and today, but went in for a follow up with the doc today and he yanked me right off of work again.

Now for the fucked up news. While it is company policy to be drug tested the day of the accident neither of us were. That's one red flag. Secondly, the driver of the haul truck said he wrote up a break failure light 2-3 times over a few weeks prior to the accident and was told to "run it" from the mechanics. Red flag number 2. With our shop tearing apart the truck an a C.A.T. representative there helping they determined that the breaks were actually out of spec. Now all of our haul trucks are getting their breaks redone. Red Flag number 3. And to sum it up, I asked the safety officer today if the investigation was done and what was the outcome. Ya, I was lied to saying that they hadn't found anything wrong with the breaks and that it was still under investigation (even though the guy that hit me stated h was going in for the post investigation accident review today). Red flag number 5.

Ya, I am going to be talking to a lawyer I think here as soon as I get fixed up.
